2013 chrysler 200 shuts down while driving
Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with my 2013 chrysler 200 for some reason while I'm driving it shuts down and doesn't start for a couple of minutes the it seems to work fine. I have took it to the mechanic and checked it and checked using computer, but no errors or faults appear. I really need help with that. |

Might be a clogged fuel filter. Sometimes a fuel filter gets a little clogged up to the point that it can't pass enough fuel to keep the car running at speed. Letting it sit for a while allows fuel to seep through so that it can re-start and run for a while. It's not easy to diagnose because there won't be any codes and when you take it in for service, it sits for a while and seems normal to the technician.

I went to the dealer where I live (middle east) to diagnose this problem, first they charged me about 130$ for "computer check" then gave me a list of things to replace which in total costs 7200$. They didn't give me an answer on what it causing that issue, since then I have been having a hard time with the car. I really want to sell it, but I feel guilty for the person who will buy it that's why I'm trying to find a solution.
Please any help will be appreciated. |

It might be it. Earlier toady the car showed different behavior I just uploaded a vedio on YouTube while it happened. Suddenly the car didn't respond and as you can see in the vedio when I put my foot on the gas pedal the RPM decreases! I don't know what is wrong with it. I thought there might be something wrong with the throttle. |
