I'm guessing that would be a TSB??

TSB 24-003-07

It involves checking and replacing an I/R Sensor on selected platforms and Option packages.

What they are describing is what my Sebring is doing but how do you know if the Sebring I have is in that Group with those options?

so u have this is auto temp mode correct? and when u change it to full cold it will change the temp?

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may notice, while in automatic temperature control mode, that the driver and
front passenger cabin air output from the HVAC system remains warm. Adjusting the
HVAC temperature settings, while in the automatic temperature control mode, to a cooler
temperature will not change the warm cabin air output. The warm cabin air output can also
occur when operating in manual temperature control mode, with the exception of the full
cold (LO) temperature selection.

I dont know and I am not exactly sure if I have this on this car but I am sure that what it describing is exactly what I am seeing. I will give you all of the details that I know. Last summer the AC start this thing when you first turned it on the blower would come on about 3/4 speed and if you drove a 5 to 10 min it would start blowing like max ac. After this winter and it did not do this on heat all winter. We tried to use AC and no cold air but I checked the Freon and compressor and everything looks to be ok.
I am willing to being this thing to you if you would like to give me an Estimate.
