Hello My name is Jon and i'm new to this forum. I have a 1995 Sebring LX. I was driven one day and came to a red light and my car shut off. So i stop at AutoZone and the hooked it up to a volt reader and said i needed a NEW alternator. I bought one put it in and it still does the same thing. When i start it, it will idle good for a little bit and then when i rev it up a little bit it will shut off. I took off the fuel filter and it is good. Is there anything else i should try to do

I'm tryin to find an OBD1 reader for it so i can get codes to figure this out but i can't find anyone who has OBD1 cables so i can hook it to my notebook.. Can anyone help me out with my problem..
