96 Sebring won't start

Parked 96 Sebring one night, car was running fine with no problems. Will not start again. ASD relay not energizing. Replaced relay in case of bad contacts. No help. PCM does not list any faults. Can anyone help?

Could be lots of things. I assume you have a good battery and it cranks but won't fire. Check for fuel pressure/flow. Check coil and wiring. Possible timing belt/chain problem.

just had the same problem this week, replaced the distributer (could just replace the coil) and she started right up. could also be fuel pump, pcm, timing belt.

Curious, why do you say the ASD is not energizing? Did it give you a code?

Crankshaft position sensors can also do this. (With or without codes)

Usually the distributor will throw a code, but not always, especially if it has the camshaft position sensor built in.
