99 coupe quarter glass replacement

I have a 99 Sebring Coupe LXI and im trying to replace the small quarter glass on the driver side (not the glass on the regulator). Unfortuntely, I had locked my keys in my car and had to break out the small glass to open up the door (dumb). However, I was able to obtain the glass from salvage for $35.

On the glass it looks like there's weather taping on the top and bottom, when you flip the glass over, there's what appears to be some type of glue blotched everywhere. So I was thinking that it glue's right to the frame of the car but im not too sure. Any suggestions on what type of bond I should use that's strong enough to not have the glass fly off into someone's windshield while im driving down the highway?

Thanks!!

If it were me, I'd take the car over to a local auto glass specialist and talk to them about it. You want it done right, and don't want that piece flying out onto the ground when you slam the car door. They will probably be happy to glue it in for you, and you can probably get the cost down by doing much of the prep work yourself, like cleaning the surfaces and removal of trim for access.

Have a professional install the window for you. It will take them about 20minutes (if that) to install it, and the cost would be minimal. (not sure on your area, but $50 MAX!!) There are specific primers needed to help with the adhesion of the urethane to the window and body. If proper steps aren't taken, the window could pop out.
