99 Sebring LXI drivers side lower dash removal

1 Attachment(s)
Hey I am needing help with removing the bottom dash part on the drivers side. I have googled and youtubed, but can not for the life of me find anything. The model I have does not have the fuse box on the side, it is underneath towards the floor, and also it has an air vent right in the middle. I need to remove this part to be able to put a hand control in. I have found only 2 bolts to take out, and can not really find much on taking it out. Still stuck pretty good so I am sure there are more someplace. Also I have taken the vents off of the side to see if any bolts or screws are underneath, but no go there. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Spend a little money and get a Haynes manual. # 25040 covers your vehicle and it discusses removal of the instrument panel in chapter 11. Also invest in a set of plastic trim tools, less than $10 from Harbor Freight. They are very useful in prying off plastic pieces without damaging them. Interior trim parts are made to go together quickly and easily on the assembly line and not come apart. They have many clips and tabs that snap together but if you use the wrong tool or technique to take them apart you can damage them.
