ANTI LOCK Brake light on

I have a 95 Sebring LXi and the Anti lock brake light is always on. I recently bought the car and it has been on since I bought the car. It runs and brakes fine. I wondered if I could pull the negative power wire off the battery to clear this issue. But I changed the spark plug wires just the other day and had the neg batt. cable off when I did so.

When I reconnected the batt. the anti lock brake light still came on.

What could be causing this thing to light up?

without pluging it into a diag machine anybody is just guessing but abs or wheel speed sensors put out those codes but like i said without diag, its just a guess see if your local murrays has a machine they can come out and test it for free. maybe that would tell ya without any out of pocket money

good luck

pull into a local autozone and have them hook up the obd2 reader, then look up the code to see what its saying. could be the abs control module or anything to do with the abs system. lots of electronics in new cars.
