so then why don't you fix this solenoid. Why did you ask such an open ended question.... 'my battery goes dead, what is the problem'? where did you offer any more information beyond that.

here's a SMALL sample of what the problems could be:
- hood light
- trunk light
- glove box light
- stereo system
- Alternator
- some sort of electronic device
- left the lights on
- door lock switch applying the lock motor
- lunar alignment
- gremlins or trolls
- someone playing games on you
- a key fob with a stuck button
- short circuit between the wheel and seat
- stuck relay

yep me too... usually they have a 'deer in the headlight' look to them.

typical ambiguous questions/statements:

my car wont start, what's wrong?

ever since I fixed my car, it's broke!

Cars forsale on ebay or craigslist:

"my mechanic says it's a sensor or something simple"..... that means the car has a serious problem because if it was a simple fix WTF wouldn't you fix it and sell the car in good shape? I expecially love the ones when a 604 trans is involved and they pull this one. I totally jerk their chain.

- NEW battery is a POS. (had this one myself! NEXT replacement had 0.5v in it! The 'GOOD' one spilled acid on the fender, but at least it works!

AMEN!!! "my car won't start, what's wrong?" "ever since I fixed my car it's broke", "I put in a new radio and now my car wont start"

Then there's the people that post a question and like 3 hrs later are mad that no-one solved their problem so they post "anyone?"

But what pisses me off to no end is when someone is selling a car with a "simple problem" the ads usually go "my mechanic says it's a sensor" gee if it was really an easy fix, then WTF don't you fix it and sell the car working properly... for more money. I especially jerk their chain when it's a trans related 'easy fix' ad.

I've been through that one already, and now less than a year later, I'm in the same boat. Can't even jump the beast with a supposedly 700 amp jump pack, battery goes so dead in 3 days time. Pissed off, and pissed on at the same time. Not a good feeling. Waiting for the trickle charger to get the battery in range so I can start pulling fuses to see where my current drain is. I may be a middle aged woman, but I ain't freakin stupid.
