Battery keeps dying. Please help.

I recently bought a 98 jx convertable. I must say i love it besides the one problem im having with it. The first 2 days I had it everything was fine and on the third day I went out to start it and it was dead, I had to jump it. It was fine for another 2 days until it did it again. I went and bought a new duralast gold battery thinking that was the problem. It lasted 4 days before needing a jump again. After jumping it this time its continues to start but sounds weak. I had the alternator tested and its fine. I was outside for over an hour lastnight looking around to see if maybe a light or something was staying on and found nothing. I dont know what it could be. I can drive it at night and the headlights work fine with no dimming or anything. Is there anyone that can please help? I know taking it to a shop is best, but I cant afford that right now.

do u have a volt meter that can go down to 35 mili amps? U will need to do a battery off draw test to find the circuit that is staying on then track down what the issue is after that.

No but it looks like the alternator belt raises up when I give it gas Im thinking it might be a little loose but I cant find an adjustment.

ok lets educate you a little bit here.
What does an alternator do? It charges up the battery and provides all the electrical voltage to the car WHEN RUNNING.

Do you have an issue with the car when its running? according to you no your issue is when it sits for a few days the battery is dead and U haft to jump it.

So with that being said reread what I posted and that is the issue u will be looking for.
