Car smell like gas after driving?
 

Hi my car runs pretty good , no problem. I can drive it anywhere but i notice after every run it smells like gas in the hood. can someone please let me know what might be costing this. Really curious on y it smells like gas in the hood after driving. Thanks alot. Later

u problyhave a fuel leak which can be dangerous for obvious reasons, check all fuel lines with the engine running to make sure theres no fuel beading out of one of the lines or connectors

wow thanks for such a quick reply. I'll i guess read on the gas line. But can u help me where to look to idenify the gas line please if i'll do it myself im a bit a car dummy epecially dealin with the gas line. THanks alot again for the quick reply.

musicfreak, I would definately have someone that is not so much as a "dummy" as you put it, to help with this problem. Fuel leaks can not be taken lightly, it truely can be a difference between life and death if not dealt with properly. If it smells like gas ... IT IS GAS.
