I change the fronts fine just need to know if any special tools are needed for the rear

Didn't find any details in my short search for you, but most of the time a full set of combination wrenches and sockets are all it takes. If you need to remove parts to get to them, some Torx drivers may be necessary, but those are becoming more and more common to most tool boxes.

Be sure to replace any gaskets on parts you have to remove, and replace your wires. (Especially if you need to remove your air intake plenum to get to the plugs, like you do on my 2.5L.)

You need the usual socket for the plugs, plus some short extensions and a u-joint to get the rear plugs out and back in. Since you have done the front plugs, you know what to do to get the coils off. To get the plugs out, put the u-joint in between a couple of short extensions on the socket. Then you will be able to drop the socket down the hole by "rolling" the whole thing in, coming in from behind the engine. If you try to use one extension and the u-joint, you won't be able to get the wrench back out of the hole. (This is the voice of experience here.)
It's pretty easy once you get the technique down. Be sure to put some anti-seize on the threads of the plugs before installing them, and use a piece ofrubber or plastic tubing to hold the plug to start the threads in.

Any advice as to how to remove the rear coils? there is not enough room to bring them up

They'll come out. Roll them toward the rear. The connector to the plug is flexible enough.
