Default Dashboard Light Issue

I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring and I am having problems with my instrument cluster light constantly going on and off and eventually stays off. Where should I begin...Is it possible to avoid taking it to the shop???

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

You might try here http://www.mrwhizard.com/services2.cfm#Start

They fixed my 01 dash and returned it the same day.

You might check the dimmer dial for connectivity by rolling it around a bit to see if it's just dirty. Past that, you have a bad connection somewhere in a wire to the control board or circuitry in the cluster.
