disarm security system

my 06 sebring is about to drive me crazy. My security alarm goes off whenever it wants to. This started in July, in Aug. took it to dealer after 4 days the alarm finally went off, they changed some computer module related to the alarm ( iguess) anyway all was well for excaltly 1 month to the day I brought it in, took it back they kept it 3 days couldn't make alarm go off asked them if they could just disarm it, they didn't know so they called Star they said they would have to change 3 computer modules i said no, e mailed chrysler and there only answer is go to another dealer, that's just crazy you should be able to disarm it permantly with out having to change 3 different parts. Any ideas out there?

RE: disarm security system

On my 2001 Sebring, it is necessary to electrically lock the doors to arm the security system, that is, using the remote key or using the electric lock button inside the car. If you manually lock the doors using the mechanical lock button or the key in the lock cylinder, the alarm does not arm.
