downstream o2 sensor

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring with the 2.7 engine in it. I keep getting the code downstream o2 sensor is neither positive or negative. I changed both oxygen sensors ( the upstream and downstream) and did a vacuum test on the cat which was o.k. Should I still go ahead and change the cat or try something else?

List the codes please.

The code I get is 0140

You say you changed "both" oxygen sensors. There are 4 oxygen sensors on the 2.7L engine. The code refers to bank 1 (rear bank) downstream sensor. Is that the one you changed?

Thank you I changed the front downstream sensor. I will change the rear bank sensor and let you know.
