Error code P0300, P0301, P0302 after driving in heavy rain
 

Hi,
I recently bought a 2000 Chrysler Sebring 2.5L V6. Yesterday it poured heavily and as soon as I got near home my service engine light started flashing and the car started to vibrate and it felt like it was going to stall. I ran an OBD test on it and I got P0300, P0301, P0302 codes. So I inspected the spark plugs and it seemed I had some water seep into it. So I was wondering if anyone else ever had a problem like that. Do I need to replace the spark plugs and ignition coils or just let the car sit for a couple days? I do see quite a lot of water vapor in the exhaust fumes. Could there be some other problem ?

Those codes tell you that cylinder #1 and # 2 are misfiring, which you already knew. The problem could be related to the rain especially if you drove through deep puddles and/or at speed.
Letting it sit for a few days is not the best approach. You want to get it dried out as soon as possible. Try removing the spark plug wires one at a time and drying them off both outside of the wires and inside the connector boots at each end, as well as the things they are connected to. Letting them sit wet too long could allow corrosion to set in.
If that gets the engine running smoothly, the codes will go away after a few days. If not, you may have other problems.
Water in the exhaust may be perfectly normal or it may be indicative of serious problems. Water is a natural by-product of combustion of gasoline, and until the engine and exhaust system warm up fully, you will see water coming out the tailpipe. On the other hand, it could be a sign of a blown head gasket. So it depends.
