Fan only works on High (4)
I would appreciate any assistance that you are able to send my way. This is my first post, so please forgive me if I am doing something incorrectly.
I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Sedan with the 2.7 L V6, with 30,000 miles. Since the weather has started to warm up I have begun to use my fan, not the A/C, just the fan to get some air moving through the car. The problem is that the fan will not work on the first 3 (three) settings. The fan only works when I turn the knob to the highest setting, 4. I have know idea why it doesn't work and hate to think about paying $95 to have the electrical system checked. Not to mention the other costs that would occur. Please help me. |

Mine does the same thing. I have a 1999 Sebring convertible. Did you end up getting it serviced or figure out what is going on, I would love to know? And if not let me know if you are still checking the forum and if I get mine checked out I will be sure to share info with you too.
thanks, beracuda |
RE: Fan only works on High (4)
It was the blower motor resistor.
Paid $65 to have it replaced at the Chrysler dealer. If I had the time I would have changed it myself, which would have saved me approx. $50. |
