HID Problem on 09 Sebring
 

Hello,

I am having some problems with installing HIDs on my 09 Sebring. I had initially purchased two set (low and high beams), but the tech who installed them told me that highs would not work because the car did not provide enough wattage for the high beams to run in daytime running mode so they just flickered. He said I would need to have the highs on all the time at full wattage to avoid this. Is this true, or is there a fix?

The second problem I'm having is with the lows. They work, but the passenger side flashes off and then back on after about 1 second after having them on for about 10-15 mins. This continues to happen speratcially (usually every 10 to 20 mins) and sometimes it will even happen twice in a row. I noticed some flickering and flashing more often when I first started it. Then it happened twice within about 5 mins.

I have my lights on the automatic setting and have read on other dodge forums this may be the cause, do I need to have my lights on manual to avoid this or is there a fix out there?

Any help would be appreciated as the tech seems to be totally lost and I'm not very good with doing this kind of stuff myself.
