Horrible traction control noises.

04 Sebring Sedan. When I bought it, the traction control was a bit noisy when I got it to slip on snow. Noise went away with some driving. I just replaced the engine, now the traction control noise sounds like metal on metal grinding. First time it engaged it stalled the car. Sounds horrible. No noise at all with it turned off, at any speed, tires spinning on ice or not. Any ideas?

huh??? traction control is suppose to apply the brakes in different sequence to make all the wheels turn at the same speed hence traction control the noise u are more then likely hearing it the abs pump doing its job.
