How do I know which type of sebring I have?

I have 2006 convertible but not sure if its base or gtc or limited or touring ...

It is v6 and white color if that helps

it is automatic 2 door convertible with power lock and power window cruise control

Look at the back of the car. If it says GTC or Touring or Limited on the back, then it's one of those.

Engine and color are irrelevant.

All that stuff is standard equipment.

curiousv 08-04-2017 08:28 PM

nothing on back

dcotter0579 08-05-2017 11:41 AM

There's your answer.

curiousv 08-05-2017 12:03 PM

I am confused...it does not say anything ..it means its base model?

But I thought base models only came in v4 and not in v6

dcotter0579 08-05-2017 03:43 PM

Why did you think that?

curiousv 08-05-2017 03:54 PM

ok lets conclude its base

DGCarnell001 09-11-2018 10:55 PM

try typing your vin into a search and see if you can find a code decypher, the vin should tell what the car is base,jx, jxi, jxi-limited etc depending on year of course

It would be VERY helpful to fill in what year and body style 4dr,, convert, or 2dr coupe in your profile info, so responders to your threads/posts don't have to guess as to which model ride you have. Particularly with the Sebring that went thru a number of platform changes over a number of years.

nothing on back = base model

Brendan McCahill 04-21-2020 06:35 AM

type of car you have ... O`Reilly Auto Parts website

go to the website and type in the VIN, it will tell you all you want to know as long as the car is factory ! and or you can walk into any O`Reilly A.P. also

Marcelvg 04-25-2020 01:02 PM

here in Europa most cars have nothing on the back

Brendan McCahill 05-01-2020 05:18 AM

take your insurance card into any O` reilly auto parts and let them enter your VIN , they can tell you ANYTHING about it !

GLHS60 05-02-2020 02:26 PM

Base model is a 2.4 inline 4 cyl with cloth seats, 15" steel wheels with hubcaps.

All others have 2.7 V6 and 16" Alloy Wheels

GTC comes with Ultrahide vinyl Seat trim and small trunk spoiler

Touring adds front fog lights and simulated suede/leather Seat trim

Limited adds wood grain dash trim, Autostick and ABS with traction control

Thanks
Randy

Pretty much any of those things are extra cost options that could be added to a base model. So if your vehicle has them, it could still be a base model.

GLHS60 05-02-2020 05:15 PM

A base model with V6, Leather and Autostick, very interesting.

Thanks
Randy
