idle 1999 Sebring JXI 2.5 convertible

Default idle 1999 Sebring JXI 2.5 convertible

no disconnected hoses - all that is checked but car is idling way too high - what can I do?

Might be the idle air control motor. It opens and closes a little valve to control the amount of air that gets in to control the idle speed.

have replaced plugs, plug wires ,dist and when all back together the idle was way to high 2500 plus hard to say how much the tach is broke. Checked for vacum leaks and none found.Dont see how IAC can make it idle that high

was it an issue before the plugs were replaced?

the distributor was the issue - decided to replace plugs and wires since intake was off - to do this at the same time
