installing a new rear window

The top is pealing away from my back window on my 02 LXI convertible. I have another window on order because I have tried reglueing and it never stays for longer than a couple weeks. ANY WAY...It looks straight foward to installing one. Has anyone done it and have any tips? It looks like just one bracket with like 6 bolts holds the bottom and some sort of gliding track for the top.

Thanks for any help :D

RE: installing a new rear window

Well I replaced my window. It took me about 2 hours to do so. You will need a 11mm deep socket, size T20 star bit, a phillip screw driver and a staple gun.
It is very simple and straight foward once you start taking it apart.
If anyone has any questions let me know! :)

What type of glue did you try to use to seal the gap at the window? I have 2 spots at the bottom that are doing the same.

RE: installing a new rear window

I tries a 3M glue made just for vinyl tops. Didn't work. And as I have read in the past people have tried all types of glue and it just ends up tearing off again.

My sugestion is just replace the back window and be done with it.
