Default Instrument panel goes crazy

hello. i have a 2003 sebring sedan and i have a weird issue

as i start the vehicle my instrument panel randomly goes on and off, rpm and fuel resets and comes back, abs light and alarm lights goes on and off randomly, and gear screen says “no bus”

however, as i press the brake pedal it becomes normal again and stays normal as long as i hit the brake... what can it be? i’m having a hard time diagnosing please help me. thank you.

(i’ve added a short video of hitting the brake pedal)

"no bus" means that there is a problem with the internal system that transfers data throughout the vehicle between the various computers and electronic sensors and components of the vehicle, the data bus. It's sort of line a Local Area Network (LAN) in the car. There could be a wiring problem, or it could be a bad computer causing the problem. Might be something as simple as a bad ground somewhere or a weak battery. Might be a failing PCM. Start with reading any error codes, either with a code reader or the "key dance" (key on, off, on, off, on - codes to appear in trip odometer space on the dash). You can look up codes on the internet to see what they mean. If that doesn't guide you, then get some professional help to get it fixed.

Only thing there should be the switch for the brake light. That switch is connected to the computer to allow functions that require brake activation, so there's that. A cable may have become dislodged and be in the wrong place. You could get under there with a flashlight to see if something is amiss.

today i’ve found out that if i start a/c the gauges becomes normal again.. so;

- the situation began after 2 very rainy nights
- if i push beake or open a/c (basically if i send any electrical signal to the pcm) it becomes normal

so i assume it has something to do with pcm itself or its connectors became wet or damp after rains and cold.. i’ll try to brush them with some wd40. any other suggestions?
