If you wind up with more than one remote, program all of them at the same time. If you program one and then get another one later, again, program all of them at the same time (within 30 seconds). If you program only one of them, it will un-program the other. This is stated in the owners manual but it's easy to overlook.

Check your manual first, but I think with no remotes available, you're going to wind up at a dealer to do the actual programming. But if you provide the remote(s) it should not be too pricey. If you had one remote, you could use the manual steps to match in additional units. The same with the Sentry keys.

RE: Keyless Entry

Here's the instructions from my 2001 Sebring owners manual:
[ol][*]With the vehicle in Park, turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position.[*]Using a currently programmed transmitter, press the Unlock button on the transmitter. Continue to hold the Unlock button, wait at least 4 but no longer than 10 seconds, then press and hold the Panic button for at least one second. Release both buttons simultaneously. You will hear a chime signal that you can proceed with programming the new transmitter.[*]Press and release the Lock and Unlock buttons simultaneously, followed by a press and release of ANY button on each new transmitter to be programmed as well as the original transmitter. You will hear a chime when a transmitter has been successfully programmed. You will have 30 seconds to finish programming all new transmitters. A chime will sound when the 30 seconds is over or the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position.[/ol]
Now it's pretty clear that you must have one working remote to get into the programming mode. All is not lost if you don't have one. The dealer can program a transmitter without having one that works. Using the DRBIII scan tool, the technician enters BODY, BODY COMPUTER, MISCELLANEOUS then PROGRAM RKE, then follows the instructions on the screen.

I have included the latter so that when you go to the dealer and ask them to program your remote, you will be able to tell them what to do when you get the usual blank stare from the write-up guy. The bad part is that they will probably charge you $85 for the service.

Of course you can always run out and buy your own DRBIII tool. I've seen them on eBay for $6,000.
