Tech tells me there are over 400 on national back order.

2.7 motor map sensor I see 239 in all depots
2.0 and 2.4 132 in all depots i guess u did not chk the dealer huh?

So how about being able to get a map sensor for a 2004 Sebring, part #
4896131AC. I'm being told June 1st before one is available. Any reason this part does not seem to exist?

its there just who ever is making it has not made enough to be stocked which happens one of 2 ways new part or they switch people that make them. so U will haft to wait or use aftermarket sensor.
