Default Oil temp Sensor 2016 Chrysler 200

Anybody know where the location of the oil temperature sensor is on this car? And what it looks like? Is it a traditional cooling sensor or something different? Oreilly has the part, says it works, but the mechanic says it’s a $300 part that I will need order elsewhere. Help Please!

wouldnt buy a sensor from oreilly, had them fail or be wrong a bunch of times when sending friends to get parts for thier cars.

autozone or rock auto. as an out of US sebring owner, ive ordered from rock auto plenty and never had an issue. just dont buy economy grade parts.

as for location, you need to pull your coolant reservoir off the passenger side, and its in underneath a lip above the valve cover.
