P0344 CMP sensor error and instrument light replacement

I own a 2003 Sebring LX, 4 door, 2.4L, 4 cyl, 16 valve DOHC.

I am getting the error:

P0344 Camshaft position sensor A bank 1 check interminttent

This indicates that the sensor itself needs replaced, correct?

I am looking to replace the sensor myself. Is there any calibration or anything else that needs to be done besides removing the old one and placing the new one on?

Several of the instrument panel lights also need to be replaced. Can individual light bulbs be replaced or does the entire cluster need to be replaced? The check engine light is among those that are burned out.

What are the average prices to have the sensor and lights repaired/replaced by a garage/dealer?

Might be the sensor, might be the circuitry. Could also be the target magnet. Replacing the defective part should cure the problem and the light should be out.

Remove the cluster to see which of the bulbs need replacing. Some may be LED's. They are replaceable. You have to take much of the instrument panel apart to remove the cluster. Don't start the project without a set of plastic trim tools. A manual might be a good purchase, too.

Not sure of what a garage would charge but you'll save lots of money if you can do it yourself plus have the satisfaction of accomplishing something.
