P0700 Code

Hi all

I have a 2002 Sebring Convertible limited, 86,000 miles 2.7 V6. The engine management light is on and the tanny is stuck in 2nd. Done a code scan and getting a P0700 for the tans. I have bought an icarsoft OBDII unit and got a little more info on the TCM as it is saying that it can;t see the FL, FR, RR, RL speed sensor. For all of them to be uncontactable is it is the Input speed sensor on the Trans that has gone?

Any Ideas? Many thanks

Input and output speed sensors are VERY easy to replace. So easy and relatively cheap that it would be easier and cheaper to replace them than to pay somebody to do more diagnostics. You remove the air cleaner and unscrew them from the top. Don''t even need to crawl under the car. If you suspect them, change them.
