Rearward control arm bushing, 2010 Sebring

Hi Everyone, this is my first post here, so - thanks in advance for your help.

I'm working on some front end repairs today, and noticed that the rearward control arm bushing stretches quite a bit - when the control arm is pushed down (when inserting the steering knuckle, for example), or just left to hang by gravity.

My question is simple - is this normal, or is this bushing damaged ?
Thank you.

There shouldn't be much movement between the suspension elements. And they do wear out with use. Consider replacing the worn part(s).

Sorry, I was so tired when posting this yesterday, I forgot to mention - This is a brand new Moog bushing with 0 Miles driven.

The way the control arm's weight bends the bushing just seems so odd to me, and I'd like to hear/read an affirmation by someone more experienced with these types of bushings.

The way they stretch is just so odd.
