Runaway throttle

My girlfriend had an 07 Sebring 2.7L
that has experienced a wide open throttle on 2 occasions, causing an accident both times.
The dealer cannot find a problem.
There are no trouble lights.
She was told it could be the TPS.
Anyone else experienced this, and what was the corrective action?
Thanks

Have not personally experienced this, but I do know that the brakes are approximately four times as powerful as the engine, and that application of the brakes even if the engine were to go to full throttle will still stop the car. If the driver claims that the brakes failed at the same time the engine went to full throttle, the only reasonable explanation is that the driver's foot was on the wrong pedal. It happens.

Agree also you have a fly by sys system no cables the pedal has 2 sensors and the throttle body has two sensors if one was to fail it would throw codes and cause it to go into failsafe mode less power. so the dealer not finding any store codes then more then likely user error.
