Seatbelt Module on 1996 Sebring

I have a seat belt problem. The seatbelt modular is not working properly. I have it wired across so it sorta works. I am in need of the wiring diagram so I can fix the problem. Or do I need to get a new modular. The one on the passager side worked after I by passed the modular. The dirver side has 4 wires not 2.

RE: Seatbelt Module on 1996 Sebring

I don't think you want to be fooling around with these things. If it were me, I would NOT want a seat belt that "sorta works". Either it works or it doesn't, and if it doesn't work, there's no point in having it.
Now if you don't mind flying through the windshield in an accident, that's your business, but if it were me, I'd get it fixed right.

The seat belts on my driver's side and the passenger's side would not work at all. Both seat belts was locked or would lock intermittenly. Then I replaced the seat belt control timer module between the two front seats which fixed the problem. Maybe you did not disconnect the battery prior to installing the seat belt module. I would highly suggest that you go to an authorized dealer service center to get this installed. CAUTION: DO NOT CONNECTION OR DISCONNECT THE SEATBELT CONTROL TIMER MODULE (SCTM) WHILE THE BATTERY IS CONNECTED. FAILURE TO DO THIS MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE AS A CONSEQUENCE OF IMPROPER INSTALLATION AND/OR OPERATION OF THE MODULE
