Sebring GTC 2002 5-Speed Manual Clutch Swap?

I have the rare 5-speed manual Sebring GTC. It's a 2002 with a 2.7 L V6 (VIN:R) and I may need to replace the clutch soon.

The only clutch kit I can find is for a 2004 Sebring GTC/2004 Stratus R/T sedan 2.7 with the 5-speed transmission. It says it is not compatible with a 2002 - or any other year than 2004, but the unavailable/discontinued part number for 2002 is compatible with 2001- 2004. They all have the T850 transmission, which is also shared with the Dodge SRT-4.

Mopar Part number for 2002: 5062200AA <--- Discontinued and unavailable
Mopar Part number for 2004: 5062200AB <--- Also discontinued, but I found a few of these still around

Some of the aftermarket interchanges (all discontinued and unavailable anywhere):

AMS/Rhino 05-119
LUK 05-119
NAPA 1105119
Exedy/Daikin KDG04

The difference between 2002 and 2004 is the next gen ECM on the 2004. Why would the ECM make a modular clutch not compatible? Were there other changes (transmission bell housing, flex plate bolt pattern, etc) between 2002 and 2004? Thanks!
