Sebring TMS error or reset

Hi - I have a 2008 Sebring Touring and after having a puncture repaired the TMS warning "chimes and says the tire that has been repaired has 0 PSI air, this is intermittent and can happen after some hours of driving, is the sensor faulty or is there a reset that can be done.

did u replace the tire? if so who ever did it could have damaged the sensor.

Where is the sensor actually located - is it in the Tire valve or on the rim somewhere?

all u would see would be the valve stem the rest is behind the rim. they get broken all the time by the people that don't know anything about them.

if the tire was taken off the rim then it could have been damaged during dismounting or mounting. There isn't normally an intermittent warning if its done properly. I would take it to the dealer and see if they can read the sensor if not then you need to take it back to the place that fixed it and get them to reimburse you for a new sensor which can be anywhere from 20 to 250 dollars a piece. depending on the type of sensor and what not. I will look it up tomorrow at work and let you know when i get off.
