Sebring Tpms Replacement
The tire valve on my 2009 Sebring broke. I tried getting just the valve, but no luck. I ordered the whole TPMS online. The part # is Siemens 56053030AC. I am getting conflicting stories from Tire shops as to whether this is "install and drive" or if it needs to be reprogrammed.
Question 1- Does it have to be reprogrammed? Question 2- If yes, could they just remove the stem from the new TPMS, install it on the old TPMS to avoid the reprogramming costs? Thanks for all your help. |
Since no one answered, I'll answer my own post. The answer is install and drive. To all the dishonest mechanics, shame on you. Thank you to the honest ones.
