Spark plug change out

How is it that I can not get the top off of the spark plug manifold after I removed all the deep bolts? Am I missing something.

uhh manifold? There is a manifold that has to be taken off to get to the spark plugs? Have you ever changed spark plugs before?

Car specs

Response to car specs for Tech reply. Chrysler 2005 Sebring convertible eng 2.7L 6 cyl.
And to doeboy yes I have chgd sparks plugs before only my 6 other autos had plugs and wires. The plugs on this car are under what looks like an air manifold on top of eng.

You do not need to remove the upper intake manifold to access the rear plugs. Remove the coils just like the front plugs. The connection to the plug from the coil is flexible and will come out. You can reach the plugs by putting a universal joint between two short extensions and "rolling" the combination with the spark plug socket down into the spark plug access hole.
It's been a year or so since I did this bit I think I removed the insulation blanket on the firewall to get a little more room to work. It's not difficult.
