Swapping Engines in a 2001 Lxi
 

i want to know if the 2.4L 4 cylinder engines can be swapped into the Lxi 2001 model. I have a lot of oil sludge in the engine, the engine keeps overheating and all this other stuff, and its a 2.7L 6 cylinder engine. seems like the previous owner didn't take care of it. I really want to know if the 2.4L 4 cylinder engine fits in there. my uncle had that engine in his and he said it was a good engine. but i hear that this 2.7L is a bunch of bs. really want to know if i can fit the 2.4L and what all i would need for that swap. thanks in advance
