Default Timing Belt Kit/Water Pump?

Based in Scotland and own a 2008 Sebring CRD 2.0(1968cc),heading to North America on vacation in two weeks.

My question is,would I be able to buy a Timing Belt Kit/ Water Pump whilst over there and would it be suitable for my Car back in the U.K?

Very unlikely. Chrysler never sold the diesel models over here.

-Usually just year, model, and engine size will get you what you need. But I'm afraid you're not going to have much luck getting your parts here. At least I hope you enjoy your vacation...

Interesting, even when I call the dealers here they ask for the Chassis number.

Thanks anyway.

-That must be the way it is across the pond. Over here it's just the basic info, plus maybe sometimes the engine code from the VIN # if there were two versions of the same engine.
