Trailer Harness

Ok, I know this sounds weird, but I need to install a trailer wiring harness on my 2003 Sebring Convertible. I am using a basic 4 wire harness and need help finding which wire to splice to. Has anyone done this and is so, do you know which wire is for the:

Stop/Left Turn
Stop/Right Turn
Running Lights
Ground

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Trailer Harness

Usually, when you buy the wiring kit for the car, the instructions tell you how to wire it up, and provide you with the little taps to clamp on the wires.
Anyway, according to the wiring diagrams, the tail lamps should have a black and yellow wire.
Left turn signal should be light green,
right turn: tan,
brakes: white and tan
ground: black.

Verify as you go.

RE: Trailer Harness

Thank you for the quick response.

I actually wired it just like you typed. However, the turn signals are the only thing that works. No brake lights, or running lights on the trailer. The car lighting is just fine.

Any suggestions?

Get your ohmmeter out and check for voltages to see where the power to the lights has gone.
