Tranny leaking on 04 sebring sedan with 4cy.

I have a 2004 Sebring sedan with a 4cylinder. Car has 52K on it. The transmission has been leaking for a few months. At first it wasnt much, but it is getting worse. Ive put some treatment in to stop the leak whichdoes work for about a week, then it comes back. I notice some fluid on top of the transmission when I pop the hood. After about 10 minutes of running the engine the oil light comes on.Any ideas what the problem may be? Im sure me waiting to clear this up isnt doing much good either.

Thanks in advance

check the trans lines on the trans itself.

RE: Tranny leaking on 04 sebring sedan with 4cy.

I have an 04 sedan and my transmission started leaking at about 39,000. The first time some hose clamps and possibly a hose were replaced and the leak stopped for about half a year. Then it started leaking again and the solenoid was replaced and it has been leak free for roughly a year and a half if I'm remembering right. The check engine light never came on though in all that time, but I addressed it right away.
