noisytoyz:
if the codes say possible -[ecm] issue, then is the cost worth the resolve?
this may have been the problem from the start!
i'd say yes!
but!
the short cut would be the crank sensor replacement!
but! That in its self may not fix the issue!
my diag-for my 97 sebring showed no codes at all!
so iam left w/ the [distr] replacement!
your either -[ all-in] or out!

since i have not posted my repair results yet, i think you should
ask your mech a little more strongly whats the odds that the ecm
has takin a dump! Take your printout w/ its diag,to him, it does seem possible!

crank senor first! ok.
Its about 45-75 dollars !
Ecm must wait! Please try to follow the low end cost issue!
Its part of the electrical comunication chain.

Just get one at this point!
I dont beleive there is a brand issue!
There does seem to be a lack or short in
your comunication line, according to the
diag you posted!
If the distr-is ok!
Then your vehical will start!
But if its the cam sensor then it will not!
The diag does not show an issue there! By the way!
One step at a time! Ok

The cat converter will not cause a no-spark condition. A bad engine computer could.
