winter driving
 

I have a 04 2 door sebring and was wondering if any one ells has problems when driving when its wet or snowing? this car is all over the road when its not real slick out, i can go drive my 2 wd cummins around all day long and not be all over the road but this car is all over the place, it wears tires real bad also. I have had it allined and the same problems. Just wanted to know if other drivers were having the same problems or not. the car will probly be traided off in june when i know if we go on stike or not:mad: its not a recent problem it has always drove bad when its wet or snow or ice

also it has new coper cs4 tires

The aluminum wheels seem to cause rim leaks, which could be why your car is eating up tires. Watch your tire pressure very carefully. The guy at Belle Tire told me that the rim leaks are caused by corrosion of the aluminum. It make bumps or pits and the tire leaks as a result. They have a fix for it which involves removing the tire, cleaning up the rim, applying a sealer and remounting the tire.

Some tires are better than others in wet and snowy conditions. I haven't had any experience with Cooper cs4's, but I haven't noticed any real problems in the winter in my Sebring sedan, which is a totally different vehicle from your coupe.
