08 300C 5.7 RWD / ABS EPS Traction Control Warning Lights
Hello All,
Ihave a 2008 Chrysler 300C 5.7 RWD, The ABS EPS , Traction control & Check engine lights are on, .I'm not sure if they came on after I pulled a small mini cooper 200ft out of an intersection. using a tow rope hooked to my hitch.. After reading others threads recommendations This is what ive done so far to fix.... Replaced rear wheel Hub Replaced front and rear ABS & Speed Sensors.. Checked fuses.. Fully Charged Battery Tried resetting system. pulling terminals off batteries for an hr. Still on..... AAAHHHHHH,,,lol Cars overdue for inspection, Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. |
You will need to have it scanned to see exactly what the codes are to see what is causing the issue .Hope this helps .

Hopefully this one will work. The last one I tried said it supported my car, but didn't support the ABS function.. Returned it. How often is it actually the ABS Control module that is bad.... will a code show a bad ABS module? Thanks |

Fixed it with a new speed sensor... ABS, Traction Control, BAS, Lights went off after clearing the codes.
I put the new speed sensor in, turned the car on, now the brake light was on to. Thought I was going to run into the same problem... not being able to clear the codes with the scanner But when I plugged the OBD in and scanned it, The sensor code came up stored. not active. What a relief. I cleared the stored codes. and poof.. all those trouble lights went off. |
Good on you for letting us know how it sorted out..
