I was driving at low speed In a parking lot when my chrysler stalled. When I tried to recrank it only my serpentine belt spun and the engine was not firing. It seems to be the general consensus that my timing chain broke, any other possibilities? Is there any chance that my engine is not destroyed?

Without any more details, there could be any number of possibilities which would explain the no start.
I would suggest having your vehicle inspected to determine the nature of the the no start.
This will certainly help alleviate any unknowns.
