2006 300T going dead question.

Hi, I just recently bought a 2006 300T with the 3.5 and love the car, but from time to time when slowing down to stop it just shuts off or when I slow down to turn. it starts right back up but can at sometimes go dead again when slowing again. anyone have a clue why this is happening?

lovesallthingscoke,

Are these the only conditions in which the vehicle stalls?
Do you find the stalling is amplified on wet days?

It's hard to tell why it could be stalling, might be something simple like needing a tune up if it's high mileage.

its seem's it does it mostly when slowing down or seems to do it more randomly when I slow down to make a sharp turn. and to be honest i havnt driven it in the rain yet. and it has 181k miles on it.

lovesallthingscoke,

I would start by checking your spark plugs, certainly time to change if they haven't been done already.
Beyond that, it could be a fuel delivery issue. Fuel pump could bad, might even have dirty injectors.

At this mileage, I recommend giving it a little TLC and getting it to a dealer for a good service and inspection.
