2007 300 AWD abs problem
I have been over this car a dozen times, replaced the lr sensor 3 times, all after market parts, and cannot get rid of the code C1020. What is weird is when measuring ohms those sensors all ranged in the 3-5 MEG ohms while the right side measured 755 ohms which I believe is what the left should also read. Please correct me if I am wrong! I am also getting a C121A Steering angle sensor code I have also gotten a U1418 Implausible Left Wheel Distance Signal Received. This is driving me crazy.

Well I left out all the important stuff and then could nto find the edit control .
2007 Chrysler 300 Touring AWD V6 114,000 miles. Has serious under carriage rust/rot, may need a front sub frame. Have never driven it! |
The tone wheel for the rear abs setup is on the axle itself and may be the issue. This would require replacing the axle shaft. Had this issue on an '06 Charger where the tone wheel on the axle shaft was bad.
The U1418 is likely caused by not being able to read the wheel speed as traction control and electronic stability control rely on the wheel speed readings from the sensors. The steering angle code may be a separate issue but is initialized by the abs module and if the abs module is not able to read all 4 wheels it may not be able to initialize it. |
