2008 Chrysler 300 Touring - Defroster not functioning correctly
 

2008 300 Touring Limited Defroster not functioning correctly, all windows begin to severely fog over within 10mins of vehicle running & no setting of heater properly clears windows...dealer claims that this is a known issue with 300 & that it continues to happen because I am using heating system incorrectly....that in order for defroster to work heater must be turned on in conjunction with A/C...is this a known issue with the 300, & if so when will Chrysler issue a recall to address this situation?

If you recirculate air too much this will happen. also be sure the vent hole to let out the ac water is not clogged as this will put water vapor in the passenger comportment. look for a filter under the dash that filters the passenger compartment air. it will have one if it recirculates the air.
