300 limited towing capacity

I just purchased a 2011 300 limited a couple months ago and of course am now thinking of buying either 2 jetskis or a boat. How much could I tow safely? Always would be 5 miles at the most. The boat I am looking at is a small seadoo jet boat

Read the owners manual. If you don't have one, download it from chrysler.com

Yeah it says 1,000lbs towing. I know how to look at a piece of paper. Im looking for personal experience. Thanks for the help...

why would personal experience be any better then what the little peace of paper you are looking at that was undoubtedly written by manufacture which would know far better the rating to which the car can safely handle a tow.? Your transmission is the whole key more then 1000 extra lbs then full curb weight and plan on buying a new transmission.

So your telling me I can not have 5 250lb people in my car? And I'm asking for personal experience because not everyone listens to a little piece of paper. I'm not asking if I can tow a yacht. I'm getting two jet skis and will be towing them a mile or two. You go by everything the manufacturer tells you?

no sir I did not say that I said full curb weight plus 1000 lbs full curb weight is full of gas and mas passengers and the avg passenger is 200 lbs And another note teh frame is not designed to carry the more then extra weight in the back along with the supervention.

I'm not looking for the specs on the car. I want to know if anyone has towed anything with their car.

Thanks for all of your help! I've seen people tow small trailers and such with them and I would like some opinions from personal experience. Not an opinion from some smart ass telling me what the Manual says.

CHRYSLER TECH 08-11-2015 10:51 PM

is your car knock yourself out u have made you mind up already and no your first post was not asking personal opinion of any one you asked what tow capacity was for the car,
