300 Limited Vs. 300S

Hi, I'm currently looking to purchase a pre-owned Chrysler 300. I have two options. One is s 300 Limited with 25,000 miles and priced at $24,000 and the other is a 300S with 14,000 miles and priced at $23,000. Both cars are 2012. What are the differences between the two? Please shed some light on the situation for me. I look forward to being a Chrysler owner and a part of this community. Any responses will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

The 300S should be a more fully-optioned model than the 300 Limited, but just based on mileage (assuming the overall condition is othewise comparable), the price of the 300S is a hands down winner.

Thanks. That's what I'm leaning towards as well. The 300S has a sun roof, navigation, better looking wheels, and I believe it's steptronic. I been seeing other 300 Limited ones though. Lower miles and ranging from $21,000-$23,000. I'm going to go and see the car today. Hopefully the condition is good. It looks fine in the pictures.

Unless the Limited has the luxury option like mine and sell then mine has more options than the 300s that I also test drove.

Take a look at Cargurus.com. This is the best place I have found for price/comparison/location I have found.

My 300 limited v6 is rated at 292 HP. I notice the 2013, with 8 speed transmission is rated at 300. How did they tweak the other 8 HP? By the way, I keep thinking of a newer 300, then drive my 2011 and the fantasy vanishes.

Noonrock must have a HEMI I miss my HEMI in my truck but this thing is more than the 292 they say I bet it is well over 300 HP and I also believe it is posi because I shut the traction control of on a early morning damp cement road and well I was pleasantly surprised with a more than good burnout both wheels, how I know this is 2 black strips and the car was fishtailing. So I don't need a HEMI anymore. I would like to get this on a dyno but not worth the cost.
I tested the S and C and the S had 3.6 and C had HEMI limited was in the showroom and they must have color sanded it or something because never seen a paint job out of the factory like this. Big car has such a small trunk. Had to put hitch and rack on back for my wheel chair.
Personally I think the 300 looks nicer with the Alloy wheels, the S with dark wheels looks great on the 200 my kid bought one nice look but wrong look for the 300 when you see them next to each other.

I have a 2018 and maintain mine with this:

early on when I owned it I immediately put my favorite synthetic transmission fluid, just peace of mind. Other than maintaining it, enjoy! ..maybe a nice stereo system

Were I you I would only be looking at cars with the SaftyTec 2 option Check it out. It's a whole page list of important features including ACC adaptive cruse control.
