Air Condition Blows warm air

I have a 2006 Chrysler 300. I have changed out the radiator cooling fan assembly and it is fully charged with freon. I turned on the ac to the coolest setting and still get warm air, when I turn on the ac I hear the compressor click on also. Any ideas on what I might be missing?

what are the high and low side pressures?

All I did was hook up a cheap gauge and it read charge full. I did not charge the system with freon based on that?

When I turn on the AC, is the fan supposed to start immediately or does it take a few minutes.

I noticed when I turn the AC on the fan does not turn on. The fan to cool the engine will come on once it reaches a certain temp, but I have yet to see the other fan turn on?

the fan can take up to 30 seconds to turn on once the high side pressure reaches a pressure. What was the low side reading when u have the ac on ?

Did you replace your fans because you thought they were bad?

I will have someone give me the hi and lo readings this week. I had a similar issue 2 years back and it was the cooling fan so I replaced it and that worked. I figured I bought a cheap after market and should replace it, but no change in the problem.

I did find out that even though the cheap gauge read full, I had no freon in the system? I added 2 cans and still no cold ac?

Not a good idea to add to the system with pressure already in it. The right way is to pull it down with a recovery machine, (or to 0 psi if you're shade treeing it) and put the correct amount in. You can NEVER be sure how much is in the system just by reading the gauges. A little too much or a bit under and it can throw the system off because the PCM controls the compressor cycling and fans based on the actual high side reading.
