Airbag indicator light comes on intermittently
 

I have a 2012 300, the airbag light is coming on intermittently. I read another thread that mentioned a yellow wire. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to fix it without bringing it to a dealer?

The first order of business is to pull the dtc's (diagnostic trouble codes) from the SRS/aigbag system to find out what the issue is causing the lamp to light. It could be an intermittent connector but until you know where to look it is just poke and hope. If the lamp is on there will be active dtc's. If the lamp is off there will only be stored dtc's that are typically not read by many hand-held scanners or auto parts stores.
