Auto Heat/Cool system needs reset

2013 300C John Varvatos V6, RWD - I have 8.4 inch screen (so minimal ac/heat buttons) and had both the driver side actuator doors replaced a couple weeks ago after dealer wanted to replace heater core and everything for $2500 - I just had the 2 actuators replaced, $200 instead. But when I start the vehicle and turn on either AUTO A/C heat setting or manually operate it, the system will cycle between hot & cold and cycle between all actuator door locations - left/right/defost/panel/floor/mix for a good 5+ minutes before it settles and stays where I have it set in MANUAL mode. I thought it would correct itself over time, but has not improved at all. In AUTO mode, after it settles, it may cycle intermittently after driving awhile and needing to auto-adjust. I have seen in older threads/vehicles that there's a "hold these buttons for 5 seconds" type procedure that will reset the system to stop this. Any ideas if my car has something like this OR other ideas to correct this? Thanks in advance!
